Parish Plan

Hale Parish Council is currently developing a Parish Plan which will include a Neighbourhood Development Plan.

A Parish Plan describes the present characteristics of a community, identifies the main issues of importance or concern and helps to develop the future.

​

With input required from parishioners through a public consultation, a comprehensive questionnaire will be sent to every household. The questionnaire will serve as an opportunity for parishioners to comment on all aspects of village life and, in particular, to express their views on how the village should develop in the future.

​

The findings from the questionnaire are then converted into an Action Plan which provides a framework for the future planning for the village based on the express views of the residents. It will also help advise statutory bodies on where their best efforts should be directed for the benefit of the whole community.

​

A survey to steer the direction of the plan will be delivered to all households in Spring 2019.
